Final fishing trip of the summer

Cyndi, Danielle, Leighton, and I headed out for what we figured would be the final outside coast fishing trip of the summer. Seas were calm, the skies were blue and dry, and Cyndi just called out for Addington. So, off to Addington we went. After catching endless pingpong paddle halibut, Cyndi's pole bent over in less than 50 feet of water. Up came her monster lingcod. After finally catching one nice chicken halibut, we headed for the rockier coast to get our black rockfish. We all limited out there. Even Leighton pitched in by getting some, although we thought they were going to yank him over. Just before we left, Danielle says, "WHOA, this is one big rockfish." Instead of a whopper black rockfish, she had caught her first lingcod.
