"Surprise!" Shouted everybody as I walked out after a nice hot hour of being in the jacuzzi at our friends, Dave and Robbi Nelson's. They sneakily invited me to shower in their double header shower and afterwards soak in a hot jacuzzi. After a long hard day at checking traps, that was the last thing I planned on for the day until I got out for a HUGE surprise. I originally thought we were heading to our friend Joel's house for a meal he was "so called" cooking for us.
They made a cross shaped cake! They cooked my favorite meals...BBQ ribs, corn on cob, freshly caught King Salmon, baked potatoes! It was a total surprise birthday! On top of that, the next day after church, the church planned a surprise potluck birthday party for me. On my birthday, December 10th, my son made me a birthday cake and my foster son yelled, "Happy THIRD Birthday party Mom!" He said he didn't know any other mom that had so many birthday parties in one year. Silly goose!
