Danielle, our adopted Yup'ik friends Kathleen and Karen Lawton and I performed at the monthly Island Grind on the 1st of December. We performed three songs: Cakemnaagaiyak, Ayaggaanga, Aglauikamken. The weasel song, Eskimo ice-cream song and a children's rhyming song. Everyone LOVED the performance and couldn't wait till the next one we do. I'm really thankful to Kathleen and Karen for performing with us. You can see the kuspak-Eskimo dress that Kathleen is wearing, I made it the day before. Karen played the drums for us. She did an awesome job! Pook was absolutely cute and expressive with her face. It was all good!
