"Hey mom, can I check what that black spot is?....oh man, this gun is heavy" Mitchell said as he was struggling to hold the gun. "Nope, it's just a log."
Which was what we seemed to find all that day. We hunted and fished all day. Played is more like it. The family was just so excited to be out of Craig. Ahhhh...the fresh air. Even though we didn't see any bears today, we had a blast!
If it was deer season. We would have caught our limit today. The deer were quite plentiful. Just on our way home we saw over 50. By the end as dad and mom shouted, "Deer!" The kids sleepily said, "uh-huh"
It was an awesome day too! Thank you Lord for this outing.
The next time we go on a bear hunt will be this fall. We can't wait to have bear sausage again!
