We woke up around 5 am and began getting ready for a day of fishing with the kids. Even though they were reluctant, we told them that we were going to go out and enjoy the day as a family and sure enough, IT WAS!!!!At first glance it looked like it was going to be a rough ride out to the ocean. As we came closer to our destination, a 45 minute ride southwest, the outlook became brighter. Seas were 3-4 feet, we couldn't have asked for a better day today. Sun was shining, there was a little breeze that kept the bugs from attacking us and getting too hot from the sun. IT WAS A TOTALLY GOD GIVEN DAY!!!!
We finished the day off with Daddy getting: 5 Rockfish and 1 COHO, Momma getting: 2 Halibut and 3 Rockfish, Josephine getting: 4 Rockfish and 1 Halibut, Danielle getting: 5 Rockfish and Mitchell getting the catch of the day: 1 Greenling, 4 Rockfish and 1 HUGE lingcod! He had the most variety in the family. We were totally blessed today. I thank God and give Him all the glory for the awesome day we had!!!!!
